




Job Summary: Provide operational support in the store, including sales, merchandise restocking, and customer service to meet performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support for operational activities on the store floor 2. Merchandise restocking and planogram execution 3. Customer service and cash register transactions Provide operational floor support in-store by executing sales, merchandise restocking, and customer service processes as defined by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to achieve assigned store operational and commercial performance metrics. * Restock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable restocking guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as sales floor cleaning activities, to ensure correct product presentation and overall store appearance. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; also handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions using cash or credit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash register policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction completion. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
