




Job Summary: Oversee the store’s overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining high operational and satisfaction standards. Key Highlights: 1. Provide necessary direction and feedback to direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, employee misrecommendation, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic/test equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise daily compliance by all employees with scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and monitor area supervisors’ tasks—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to meet scheduling requirements AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
