Position Objective: To attract, retain, and develop employees through the application of HR strategies and best practices in human resources, labor relations, safety and hygiene, training, organizational development, internal communication, medical services, compensation and benefits—ensuring the right people are placed in the right positions, with appropriate compensation structures, full compliance with current labor legislation, careful management and oversight of labor relations with the Union Delegate and all employees and workers within a framework of justice and equity, and fostering positive relationships with the broader community. Position Responsibilities: •Recruitment and Selection •Training •Salaries and Compensation •Internal Communication •Organizational Development •Labor Relations •Safety and Hygiene •Community Relations Functions: * Recruit and select employees to attract top talent to the company * Develop employees’ capabilities and skills * Retain employees * Serve as the institutional communication channel for staff * Develop strategies for appropriate workforce management and personnel budgeting * Monitor compliance with legal requirements arising from individual employment relationships * Maintain healthy labor relations for the company * Conduct negotiations for the collective bargaining agreement * Monitor and enforce HR policies and the Internal Work Regulations * Update company policies and procedures * Maintain a healthy workplace climate * Implement various strategies for salary and compensation management * Support and coordinate the proper implementation of civil protection, safety and hygiene, and environmental control plans * Properly manage relationships with employees, the Union Delegate, and maintain good relations with the broader community * Execute performance evaluation systems for employees Direct hiring by the company, statutory benefits, weekly payments.
