Position Summary: We are seeking a group home director to lead, coordinate, and supervise the holistic well-being of children, ensuring compliance with the organization’s mission and applicable regulations. Management of multidisciplinary staff and resources Permanent on-site staff required **with permanent residence within the group home** Immediate availability All statutory benefits provided **Position Objective** To lead, coordinate, and supervise the overall operation of the group home, ensuring the physical, emotional, educational, and social well-being of children in accordance with the association’s mission and current regulations. **Academic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in fields such as: Psychology, Social Work, Pedagogy * Preferred: Master’s degree or specialization in: Child development, Children’s rights, Management of social organizations **Experience** Minimum 3–5 years in: * Leadership or coordination of social institutions * Working with children, adolescents, or vulnerable populations * Experience in: * Managing multidisciplinary staff * Liaising with authorities, donors, and agencies * Developing social programs **Key Knowledge Areas** * Holistic care models for minors * Child protection protocols * Administration of nonprofit organizations * Budget preparation and monitoring * Regulations applicable to group homes in Mexico **Competencies and Skills** * Strong ethical awareness and service orientation * Empathetic and decisive leadership * Emotional intelligence * Responsible decision-making * Conflict resolution * Effective communication * Organizational and strategic planning abilities **Primary Responsibilities** * Supervise the holistic care of children * Coordinate the team (caregivers, psychologists, teachers, etc.) * Ensure compliance with legal regulations * Design and implement development programs * Manage resources and budget * Represent the association before authorities and partners * Supervise intake and discharge processes for minors * Guarantee safe, violence-free environments **Additional Requirements** * Clean criminal record * Verifiable references * Flexible schedule availability (including possible on-call or emergency response duties) * Prior experience in civil associations or foundations is preferred **Essential Values** * Respect, Social Commitment, Honesty, Sensitivity toward Children, Responsibility
