Job Objective Safely and efficiently operate the pneumatic compactor to perform compaction tasks on construction and paving projects, ensuring required process quality and compliance with safety and equipment maintenance standards. Responsibilities and Duties * Operate the pneumatic compactor according to established safety and operational procedures. * Compact asphalt, base, or subbase layers according to project specifications. * Inspect the mechanical and operational condition of the equipment daily before commencing work. * Report mechanical failures, damages, or maintenance requirements. * Keep the assigned equipment clean and in good working condition. * Check oil, fuel, coolant, and tire pressure levels. * Coordinate activities with the supervisor and site personnel. * Comply with industrial safety regulations and personal protective equipment requirements. * Assist with maneuvers and other machinery-related activities as required. * Maintain operation and basic maintenance logs. Job RequirementsEducation * Completed primary or secondary education (preferred). Experience * Minimum 1 year operating pneumatic compactors or similar heavy machinery. Knowledge * Safe operation of heavy machinery. * Compaction techniques for paving. * Basic preventive maintenance. * Site safety regulations. Skills * Responsibility and attention to detail. * Teamwork. * Effective communication. * Ability to work under pressure.
