Basic CNC operation knowledge. **DESIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS** Leadership Communication Decision making Teamwork Conflict management Attention to service Proactivity Assertiveness Critical thinking Analytical ability Working under pressure Commitment **FUNCTIONS** * Receives work orders issued by the Operations Management team. * Collaborates with the Operations Manager and the Production Administrative Supervisor to determine the processing time for each part. * Participates in new project launches together with: Operations Management, Administrative Management, Product Quality Head, Warehouse Head, Production Administrative Supervisor, Production Operational Supervisor, Design, and Programming teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Prepares and monitors project timelines. * Convenes the Production Administrative Supervisor, Production Operational Supervisor, Metrology Head, Designer, and Programmer whenever: customer specification changes occur or new work strategies are introduced, to disseminate information and clarify doubts regarding required actions. * Schedules work by establishing priority and sequence, considering available resources and time constraints; determines machining dates, scheduled machine(s), and the process each part will undergo. * Identifies and promptly reports critical paths to Operations Management and implements timely solutions to ensure on-time and proper delivery of parts. * Estimates current or future productive capacity. * Maintains daily and consistent communication with the Warehouse Head and Metrology Head to track finished products. * Assigns specific tasks to the Production Administrative Supervisor and the Production Operational Supervisor. * Is directly responsible for directing and organizing the company’s production. Develops production strategies (e.g., overtime and/or other actions) with the production team to meet production targets. * Reports and updates all changes or modifications made to blueprints, processes, and tool types. * Submits to Operations Management the delivery date reports requested by customers. * Analyzes the weekly productivity report generated by the Production Operational Supervisor and proposes improvement solutions for critical points. * Reports malfunctions and damages affecting all machines and requests preventive and corrective maintenance from the Operations Manager. * Maintains the necessary tool inventory to support daily production operations. * Continuously seeks improvements in production processes. * Maintains a constant focus on cost reduction across all operations. * Ensures discipline and appropriate conduct among all personnel under supervision. * Guarantees 100% compliance with all procedures and documents related to the Quality Management System and work instructions. * Maintains ongoing communication with the Production Administrative Supervisor and the Production Operational Supervisor to address their needs and requirements. * Is responsible for resolving parts rejected by the Product Quality Head. * Monitors compliance with 5S inspections in the assigned work area. Ensures timely and accurate completion of corresponding SGC tasks and measurements.
