Trusted advisor to the General Management and Board of Directors **HumanDraft is seeking a General Accountant (Controller-level) in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GENERAL ACCOUNTANT PROFILE (CONTROLLER-LEVEL) Purpose of the Position Ensure tax compliance, financial control, transparency, and traceability; reduce risks before regulatory authorities; and strengthen General Management’s confidence. Professional Profile Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting (mandatory) Desirable: o Master’s Degree in Finance / Taxation o Certification (e.g., taxation, auditing, internal control) Key Experience: 8–15 years of total experience 3–5 years in a similar role: o Controller oo Corporate Accounting Manager Experience in: o Companies with complex operations (multi-unit or multi-site) o Handling audits (SAT, IMSS, Infonavit) o Direct handling of tax audits oo Implementation of internal controls Ideal background: o Business group oo Retail / industrial / service companies with high volume oo ERP implementation experience NOT solely an accounting firm (this is critical) Critical Technical Knowledge Tax compliance (ISR, IVA, DIOT, CFDI, etc.) Tax audits and basic defense IMSS / payroll / employer-employee contributions Internal control (SOX-type, adapted) Robust reconciliations and financial closing Cash flow and budgetary control ERP system management (ideal if migration or implementation experience exists) Key Competencies Unquestionable integrity Structured thinking and order Ability to detect risks before they escalate Crisis management Ability to say “no” to General Management when required Control-oriented mindset—not just recordkeeping Trusted advisor to General Management / Board of Directors STRATEGIC ROLE AT CODISEL This position must go beyond accounting. Reliable financial closing Timely financial statements (not two months late) Actionable information for decision-making 4.
