Job Summary: The Procurement Manager will lead the organization's comprehensive procurement and supply chain strategy, ensuring efficient availability of critical materials and services, optimizing costs, and guaranteeing operational continuity. Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and procurement **Job Objective:** The Procurement Manager will be responsible for **ensuring the organization’s comprehensive procurement strategy**, securing timely and efficient availability of direct and indirect materials, services, and mission-critical operations for the business—aligning with production, laboratory, operations, commercial, and corporate department needs. This role is accountable for ensuring **operational continuity, cost optimization, regulatory compliance**, inventory sustainability, and development of strategic relationships with national and international suppliers—contributing to the company’s growth, profitability, and competitiveness. **Responsibilities:** * Define and lead the comprehensive procurement and supply chain strategy for direct and indirect materials, services, imports, and strategic categories—aligned with the organization’s operational, financial, and commercial objectives. * Strategically manage purchasing and sourcing through negotiations with national and international suppliers, ensuring optimal total cost, quality, service, availability, innovation, and business continuity. * Lead strategic supplier relationship development—including evaluation, qualification, performance monitoring, risk management, and operational continuity plans—to ensure supply chain stability. * Ensure regulatory and quality compliance across all procurement and logistics processes, aligning with GMP, FDA, COFEPRIS, ISO, and applicable corporate requirements. * Lead demand, inventory, and procurement planning—collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, production, operations, quality, and finance teams to balance availability, service levels, forecasting, and working capital. * Lead the procurement and purchasing department’s financial and cost-optimization strategy—identifying savings opportunities, operational efficiencies, and productivity improvements without compromising quality or operational continuity. * Supervise import, logistics, and distribution operations—including cold chain, where applicable—ensuring operational efficiency, customs compliance, and uninterrupted flow of materials and products. * Manage supply chain and business continuity risks—monitoring market conditions, material availability, logistics risks, and commercial variables—to implement preventive and mitigation strategies. * Collaborate strategically with commercial and business units to anticipate growth needs, product launches, operational expansion, and demand changes—ensuring responsiveness and strategic alignment. * Drive continuous improvement, digitalization, and supply chain transformation—promoting performance metrics, automation, traceability, and best practices in procurement and operations. **Requirements:** * Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical, or Biotechnology Engineering; or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields. * **8–12 years of experience** in strategic procurement, procurement, supply chain, logistics, planning, or integrated procurement functions. * Experience **leading direct and indirect procurement processes** in corporate and/or regulated environments. * Experience **managing multidisciplinary teams** and cross-functional projects. * Strong experience in **strategic negotiations with national and international suppliers.** * Experience collaborating with commercial, operations, production, and finance departments to ensure business continuity. * Knowledge of **applicable regulations and regulatory compliance**, including COFEPRIS. * Proficiency with **ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar.** * Preferred experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical device, regulated manufacturing, or highly controlled industries. * Analytical capability and strategic orientation for decision-making. * Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Results-oriented, continuous improvement–focused, and process-optimization–driven. * Intermediate English **Benefits** **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm **Employment Type:** Full-time, On-site, 100% payroll **Salary:** MXN $35,000 – $40,000 gross monthly \+ bonuses (approx.
