Requirements: Education: Civil Engineering or Architecture degree Experience: 5 years of experience in steel structure design, structural analysis, and calculation reports. Drawing of plans and preparation of material take-offs. Preparation of fabrication cost estimates for structures. Knowledge: SAP 2000, AUTOCAD, and TEKLA Responsibilities: Perform structural volumetrics based on structural design drawings (MTO) Prepare Bill of Materials for procurement (ABM) Analyze project designs and propose process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency. Model structural elements using Tekla software Generate connections between structural elements according to project specifications. Produce and edit fabrication and assembly drawings aligned with the modeled structure and project specifications. Provide technical support to the fabrication and assembly departments. Create renders of temporary structures (tents) Continuous improvement of structures. Application of current technical standards Design must comply with safety and service requirements Prepare cost estimates for assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of structures.
