SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Description

Position Summary: Provides floor-level operational support in the store, ensuring compliance with sales processes, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborates in the proper execution of operational processes. 2. Merchandise arrangement and planogram implementation. 3. Customer service and cash register transaction execution. Provide floor-level operational support in the store by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in trucks, following applicable merchandise arrangement guidelines. * Implement correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper front-facing and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor to ensure accurate merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in point-of-sale sales closures; handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in accordance with the store’s cash handling policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
