Hotel Cantera y Plata, a boutique hotel located in the heart of Taxco, is seeking an **Executive Chef** with extensive experience, operational leadership, and a focus on gastronomic quality to lead and strengthen the hotel’s culinary operations. What We’re Looking For Someone who doesn’t just cook well… But understands that in hospitality, every dish communicates brand, service, and emotion. **Essential Requirements** * Proven experience as Chef or Head Chef in hotels, restaurants, or similar gastronomic concepts. * Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays). * Ability to work under pressure and efficiently manage multiple tasks. * Leadership experience and proven ability to manage teams in high-demand environments. * Proactive, organized, and results-oriented attitude. * Knowledge of cost control, inventory management, and supply handling. * Commitment to quality, hygiene, and service standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise daily kitchen operations. * Plan, develop, and execute menus aligned with the hotel’s concept. * Coordinate and train the kitchen team. * Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. * Control costs, waste, and inventory. * Maintain high standards of presentation, flavor, and gastronomic experience. **Key Skills** * Teamwork and leadership. * Organization and planning. * Effective communication. * Decision-making under pressure. * Focus on quality and detail. **We Offer** * Job stability. * Statutory benefits. * Excellent working environment. * Opportunity for professional growth. * Housing support for three months if you are from out of town.
