Position Summary: The ERP Developer collaborates with IT and business teams to design, develop, test, and support ERP solutions and integrations, following the SDLC. Key Highlights: 1. Maintenance and defect resolution in ERP systems. **Position: ERP Developer** **Reports to:** Director of Business Applications **Position Summary** The ERP Developer collaborates with IT and business teams to design, develop, test, and support ERP solutions and integrations. This position follows the software development life cycle (SDLC) to gather requirements, diagnose ERP configuration issues, assess risks, and deliver improvements. Responsibilities include writing code to extend the ERP platform, integrating other applications, and performing ongoing maintenance, updates, and incident resolution. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain systems by identifying and resolving software defects. * Participate in (and occasionally lead) SDLC phases, including requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. * Follow established SDLC practices, coding standards, and naming conventions. * Support applications using structured programming, documentation, design reviews, and code reviews. * Collaborate with end users to define requirements and deliver user-centric solutions. * Perform other assigned activities. **Competencies** * Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail. * Results-oriented and proactive attitude; ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience with integration and programming tools to automate workflows (e.g., Power Automate, PowerShell, EDI, Workato). * Experience working within an established SDLC; Agile team experience is a plus. * Ability to quickly learn new tools, thrive in dynamic environments, and work outside standard business hours when required. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field) or equivalent experience. * Advanced English * 3–5 years of relevant experience, including development on an established ERP system and its associated toolset. * Proficiency in SQL Server (2012 or later), T\-SQL, C\#, .NET, Python, and Microsoft development tools and frameworks. * Experience with Epicor or other recognized ERP systems, preferably (one or more modules). **Travel** Travel availability is required (estimated 10–20%). Must hold a valid driver’s license, be eligible for a passport, and be willing and able to travel outside Mexico. **Work Environment** This position operates in a professional office and manufacturing plant environment, routinely using standard office equipment (computer, telephone, copier, file cabinet). **Physical Demands** This is primarily a sedentary position, with occasional kneeling, bending, and standing required. **Position Type / Expected Work Schedule** The standard workweek is 48 hours. The general schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work Location: On-site employment
