Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Machine Supervisor to lead our printing department, overseeing operations, ensuring quality, and coordinating the team. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for an experienced and proactive **Machine Supervisor** to lead our printing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising press operations, ensuring the highest quality of the final product, and coordinating the team of machine operators to meet delivery deadlines. Your objective will be to minimize waste and maximize operational efficiency. ***Main Responsibilities*** * **Production Management:** Supervise the setup, calibration, and operation of printing machines (Offset, Rotary, or Digital). * **Quality Control:** Approve color and registration before initiating long print runs, ensuring technical fidelity to the design. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Coordinate and execute maintenance plans to prevent unplanned downtime and extend equipment service life. * **Team Leadership:** Organize shifts, train junior operators, and resolve technical conflicts in the work area. * **Resource Optimization:** Monitor consumption of inks, substrates, and solvents, minimizing waste to the greatest extent possible. * **Safety and Hygiene:** Ensure all personnel comply with industrial safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE). ***Required Profile*** * **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years operating large-format or high-speed printing machinery, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles. * **Technical Knowledge:** * In-depth understanding of colorimetry, graphic design, and production timelines. * Proficiency in handling substrates (paper, plastics, sulfate board, etc.). * Basic mechanical knowledge and precision adjustments on presses. * **Soft Skills:** Strong leadership, ability to work under pressure, friendly demeanor, and excellent attention to detail. ***Desirable Requirements*** * Technical education in Graphic Arts or Industrial Engineering. * Knowledge of quality standards (ISO) or continuous improvement methodologies (5S). * Experience using production management software (ERP), Adobe, PrintExp, Ultra Print.
