Manage an operational team, driving innovation and change A family-owned kitchen company with 250 employees in Santa Cruz del Valle, Tlajomulco, is seeking an Operations Director to: plan, coordinate, and supervise all operational activities of the Distribution Center, ensuring efficient execution of logistics processes, inventory control, personnel management, and timely shipment dispatch. Guarantee proper implementation of corporate policies and achievement of performance indicators. · Supervise goods receipt, storage, and dispatch. · Coordinate supply and efficient inventory turnover. · Lead the warehouse operational team (area supervisors, forklift operators, assistants). · Design and implement optimized shipping routes. · Monitor productivity indicators, delivery times, shrinkage, and inventory accuracy. · Coordinate implementation of logistics control systems. · Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. · Attend internal and external audits related to operations. · Report progress and results periodically to General Management. · Plan and schedule projects generated by the commercial department. · Ensure container unloading is completed on time. · Ensure load planning is finalized within no more than two days. · Maintain customer and branch order deliveries within less than 48 hours. · Maintain inventory levels above 90% and updated in systems. · Keep the warehouse organized and accurately located according to system locations; maintain a clean and safe warehouse. · Maintain excellent relationships with logistics providers and adhere strictly to freight rate budgets. · Efficiently manage staffing levels. · Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and statutory requirements. · Mentor team members. · Improve operational quality and efficiency. · Drive innovation and change. Required Experience: · **Comprehensive Warehouse Management**: Supervise receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring product integrity and inventory accuracy. · **Process Optimization**: Implement workflow improvements (layout), methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S), and technologies such as WMS/ERP to enhance operational efficiency. · **Fleet Planning**: Coordinate transportation logistics (receipt, dispatch, distribution) to ensure on-time deliveries. · **Team Leadership**: Train, coordinate, and motivate operational staff, fostering a safe and high-performance work environment. · **KPI Monitoring**: Define and monitor key metrics including inventory accuracy, order cycle time, and logistics cost, taking corrective actions as needed. · **Administration and Budgeting**: Manage the area’s financial resources, control operating expenses, and ensure equipment and facility maintenance. Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in operational management roles within logistics, Cedis, or manufacturing. Proficiency in WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), inventory management, and safety regulations (STPS, Civil Protection). Experience managing a Cedis with at least 100 employees is mandatory; experience implementing new processes and working in a growing family-owned enterprise. On-site working hours at Cedis: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM; Saturdays, 8 AM–3 PM. Full availability is required for this position due to its logistics nature. Salary: 55,000k\-65,000 net monthly Candidates residing in the southern part of the city are preferred, as the location is near Las Cuatas gas station—still approximately 10 minutes away.
