Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented General Accountant with solid experience in the full accounting cycle and import accounting. Key Highlights: 1. Accounting recording of inventories and foreign currency transactions **General Accountant \| Import Trading Company \| Up to $25,000 \+ Superior Benefits** **Join Us as a General Accountant!** We are an import trading company with established import operations, seeking a proactive, detail-oriented **General Accountant** with solid experience in the full accounting cycle and import operations. **Main Responsibilities:** * Full accounting cycle and monthly closing (basic financial statements). * Entry and recording of accounting transactions in the system. * Preparation of accruals, depreciation, and periodic adjustments. * Monthly bank reconciliations in **Mexican pesos and US dollars**. * Control and monitoring of accounts receivable and accounts payable. * Accounting recording of inventories, cost of goods sold, and physical reconciliation. * Recording of foreign currency transactions and exchange rate fluctuations. * Import accounting: customs declarations, importation costs, VAT, and associated expenses. **Requirements:** * Completed **Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting**. * **Minimum 3 years of experience** in general accounting. * Demonstrable experience in **import operations** (customs declarations and importation costs) – **mandatory**. * Experience in **trading companies** (desirable). * **Advanced proficiency in CONTPAQi**. * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.). * Knowledge of payroll, tax withholdings, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and local taxes. * Basic English (reading documents and emails). **We Offer:** * Base salary: $19,107\.60 * Punctuality bonus: $1,910\.76 * Attendance bonus: $1,910\.76 * Savings fund: $955\.38 * Grocery vouchers: $1,426 * Gasoline vouchers: $1,000 **Superior Benefits:** * Statutory benefits (IMSS, 15-day Christmas bonus, 25% vacation premium). * **Major Medical Expense Insurance** * Savings fund. * Grocery vouchers * Gasoline vouchers * **1 to 2 days of Remote Work per week** (starting after 6 months). * **Flexible Working Hours option** (entry/exit times) based on performance. * Additional vacation days in the first year (Christmas Week and Holy Week). **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
