Opportunity for career growth within the electronics industry **USI MEXICO is seeking an SMT Equipment Maintenance Engineer in Guadalajara, Jalisco** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are looking for an **SMT Equipment Maintenance Engineer** to join our team and ensure maximum efficiency in our production lines. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Perform **preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance** on SMT equipment (Pick & Place, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, SPI, AOI). * Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and/or software failures. * Ensure equipment availability and reliability to meet production targets. * Document interventions and updates in internal systems. * Implement improvements to reduce downtime and optimize processes. * Provide technical support during model changeovers and line startups. * Collaborate with process engineering and quality teams to resolve issues related to electronic manufacturing. ### **Requirements** * Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. * Prior experience in maintenance of **SMT equipment** (preferred brands: Yamaha, Panasonic, Juki, Fuji, DEK, MPM, Heller, Vitronics, Koh Young, Cyberoptics). * Knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, robotics, and control systems. * Ability to analyze and solve technical problems. * Availability for shift work and response to technical emergencies. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Familiarity with TPM systems, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies. * Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams. * Experience using diagnostic software or SMT machine interfaces. ### **We Offer** * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements. * Competitive salary. * Opportunity for career growth within the electronics industry. **Desired Education Level:** Bachelor’s degree – completed **Desired Experience Level:** Mid-level **Departmental Function:** Manufacturing / Operations **Industry:** Electrical / Electronics Manufacturing *This vacancy originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=69b492993800005c00a53f13\&source\=indeed
