Adjustments, repairs, and replacement of truck/tractor-trailer parts **TEK Mechanics seeks a Diesel Mechanic Assistant in San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TEK Mechanics by FEMSA is currently seeking a **diesel mechanic assistant.** Responsibilities: * Preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel-powered trucks/tractor-trailers: Kenworth T800, Freightliner Cascadia, International 4300, Isuzu Elf500, Volkswagen Delivery. * Brake pad replacement, wheel seal replacement, preventive maintenance (fuel filter replacement, valve adjustment on engine head). * Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit, Isuzu, and Mercedes-Benz engines. Adjustments, repairs, and replacement of parts for diesel-powered trucks/tractor-trailers: transmission disassembly and assembly, roto chamber and air bag replacement. * Knowledge of common-rail fuel systems. Requirements: * Minimum age of 18. * Primary education or higher, with certificate. * Flexible availability for work schedule and roadside assistance. * Ability to drive a standard vehicle. Valid driver’s license.
