Opportunity for growth COOK \- CAFÉ DEL ÁNGEL ABOUT US: Café del Ángel is a café-terrace bar located in the Historic Center of Aguascalientes, committed to offering high-quality food in a professional and respectful environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: \- Prepare menu items following established recipes and quality standards \- Produce and prepare ingredients: sauces, stews, chopped items, proteins, and side dishes \- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the work area according to sanitary regulations (NOM-251-SSA1-2009) \- Monitor refrigeration temperatures and record them in designated forms \- Label production with dates and apply the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) system \- Wash and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment: pots, pans, cutting boards, and utensils \- Coordinate with shift supervisors to ensure efficient service flow \- Record waste and report missing supplies ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: \- Minimum 2 years of verifiable restaurant kitchen experience \- Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in gastronomy, culinary arts, or related field (MANDATORY \- Applicants currently studying unrelated fields will not be considered) \- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques: cutting, cooking methods, seasoning, plating \- Knowledge of food hygiene and handling standards \- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours \- Full-time availability (rotating shifts, including weekends) WE OFFER: \- $400 pesos per day \- Collective tips distributed equitably among the team \- Continuous training \- Professional and respectful work environment \- Opportunity for growth WORK SCHEDULE: \- 8 effective working hours \- 1 rest day per week \- Rotating shifts: morning shift (8 AM \- 4 PM or 9 AM \- 5 PM) or evening shift (5 PM \- 1 AM) LOCATION: Venustiano Carranza 117, Historic Center, Aguascalientes Interested candidates must submit CV with verifiable employment references.
