Operational coordination and adherence to procedures. **AIR CARGO AREA MATRIX** ***\*\*LOCATED AT THE AIRPORT HANGAR*** **Job Objective** Ensure compliance with **Asset Security and AVSEC** procedures in air cargo operations, guaranteeing access control, cargo inspection, and proper execution of established security protocols. **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct **security patrols** across facilities to prevent theft, unauthorized access, fires, and improper use of areas. * Control and coordinate **access to restricted areas** for employees, visitors, and vendors. * Perform **cargo inspection using X-ray equipment**, in accordance with AVSEC procedures. * Verify compliance with procedures outlined in the **Safe Cargo Operator Manual (SCOM)**. * Supervise and monitor instructions issued to external security personnel. * Record and track incidents in **checklists, control filters, and incident logbooks**. * Support investigations related to **asset security and AVSEC**. * Analyze basic area performance indicators and propose improvement actions. * Coordinate operational activities with supervisors and operations management. **Required Profile** **Education:** * Completed high school (technical degree or courses in logistics, air cargo, international trade, or security preferred). **Experience:** * Warehouse or distribution center security. * Access control to restricted areas. * Air cargo or logistics operations. * Cargo inspection using X-ray equipment. * Basic or intermediate knowledge of **AVSEC**. **Knowledge and Skills** * Asset security and access control. * Basic proficiency in **Word and Excel**. * Organization, process monitoring, and teamwork. * Ability to coordinate operations and adhere to procedures. **Key Competencies** * Organization and planning * Attention to detail * Effective communication * Teamwork * Compliance with regulations and procedures Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $16,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free parking * Free uniforms Application Question(s): * Which neighborhood do you live in?
