If so, we want to meet you!** **Palladium Hotel Group is currently seeking to fill the position of Electrician for Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort \& Spa.** We offer professional development as passionate as you are. **Job Mission:** Ensure continuous supply of electrical power throughout the hotel, including its high- and low-voltage installations; lighting and outlet systems; power distribution network; and electrical equipment. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Providing support to departments or areas as required. * Supporting safety brigades. * Assisting control room operators in verifying or installing electrical power. * Performing preventive maintenance on systems used for electrical power. * Checking fountain pumps in themed restaurants. * Inspecting electrical panels to identify possible failures and performing corresponding cleaning. * Monitoring electrical power systems across all areas of the resort. * Properly installing outlets in required or necessary areas. * Maintaining accurate records of all activities performed during your shift via a logbook. * Keeping electronic systems—including lighting, switches, outlets, electrical panels, and central charging stations—in optimal condition. * Maintaining optimal conditions for lighting systems throughout the resort. * Preparing facilities for Christmas festivities, MP panels. * Replacing light bulbs in hotel hallways. * Replacing and maintaining light bulbs and lamps in the central area. * Installing air-conditioning units in offices or guest rooms. * Adjusting amperage or voltage levels in the electrical system. * Replacing three-phase connectors and plugs. * Completing a logbook report upon conclusion of your work shift. * Installing necessary cabling for events. * Replacing and repairing cabinets, dichroic lamps, electrical outlets, and sockets. * Conducting inspections of public and common areas to verify lighting systems. * Repairing faults identified during inspections. * Repairing or repainting panel covers or doors. * Reviewing the logbook to verify pending tasks from the previous day or shift. * Identifying primary causes of short circuits. * Periodically verifying that electrical installations are in optimal working condition. * Verifying that lighting systems in bars and restaurants are in good condition (both interior and exterior functionality). * Verifying that lighting systems turn on and off at scheduled times. * Verifying that electronic equipment and outlets are in good condition. * Verifying that office outlets are in good condition. * Inspecting and replacing burnt-out bulbs in hotel lobbies and bars. **Requirements:** --------------- **Experience and Technical Knowledge:** * 1–2 years working as an electrician. * Knowledge of general electrical installation maintenance. * Electricity, electrical systems. * Types of lamps and work tools. * Transformers, installations. * Knowledge of operation and preventive/corrective maintenance of building electrical equipment.
