We boldly go. **Where is the work:** On\-Site (5 days) What’s in it for you? As General Supervisor of Control Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the industrial automation and control area by implementing improvement and cost-saving projects, as well as providing control support to maintain equipment availability across Trane’s five plants in Monterrey. Where is the work located? This position is on-site at the Apodaca plant. What you’ll do: Program PLCs and HMIs. Integrate mechanical, electrical, robotic, and electronic systems. Manage and possess knowledge of industrial networks. Manage suppliers and generate material requisitions. Repair electronic boards and drives. Independently manage projects. Improve manufacturing processes. Support maintenance and production processes through analysis of control sequences. Analyze and resolve issues related to maintenance and industrial automation. Complete assigned tasks on time and as required to fulfill job responsibilities. Coordinate personnel involved in project activities. Implement and design 3D printing applications. Report completed activities. Solve problems using BPS, A3, JDI, and Lessons Learned methodologies. Demonstrate mastery of the plant’s automated equipment. Demonstrate mastery of automated processes in Production areas. Create flowcharts and document completed projects. Select and specify components for proper implementation. Propose improvements to cycle times and processes. Implement upgrades to obsolete equipment. Ensure safety through correct use of hardware and software to protect employees and equipment. Communicate with local and international customers for parameter review or implementation. Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices. Work with local databases. Modify LabVIEW codes used in the plant. Implement AI-powered cameras integrated with control systems. Program advanced control strategies for torque. Integrate AGVs into control systems. Participate in continuous improvement activities with other departments. What you’ll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or Instrumentation. Advanced English proficiency. Experience leading medium-sized teams. PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Siemens). HMI development. Experience with Allen Bradley suite (Studio 5000, RSLogix, FactoryTalk View). Vision system integration. Electronic equipment maintenance. 3D printing. LabVIEW programming. Artificial Intelligence. Advanced Control. SQL and databases. Pneumatics. Interpretation of diagrams.
