PuestoSueldo mensual bruto típico (MXN)ModalidadPrestaciones clave

what are all the jobs can do economist

If you're asking what jobs an economist can do, the short answer is: a lot more than you might think . Your skills in data analysis, statistical modeling, and understanding incentives are highly transferable. Let me give you a clear breakdown. The most common career paths for economists include: Data Scientist / Analyst – Many economists work with big data, building predictive models and interpreting trends for companies like Google, Amazon, or insurance firms. Policy Advisor – Government agencies (e.g., the Federal Reserve, Treasury, or local economic development offices) rely on economists to design and evaluate policies. what are c suite level jobs

To put it simply, C-suite level jobs refer to the top executive positions in a company, typically with titles starting with "Chief." These roles are the highest-ranking managers responsible for strategic decisions, overall company performance, and long-term vision. The most common ones include the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) , who sets the overall direction; the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) , who manages financial strategy and risks; and the COO (Chief Operating Officer) , who oversees daily operations. In the context of recruitment, identifying these roles is crucial for executive search and talent retention . For example, a successful CEO candidate often needs a blend of industry experience, leadership capability, and a track record of driving growth. The recruitment process for these positions is highly specialized, involving structured interviews and behavioral assessments to evaluate cultural fit. A 2026 Global Executive Talent Survey by a leading HR consultancy found that 72% of companies now prioritize "strategic agility" over pure domain expertise when hiring for C-suite roles. Here’s a quick look at some key C-suite roles and their average salary ranges (based on 2026 market data): Title Primary Responsibility Average Salary Range (USD) CEO Corporate strategy, vision, and stakeholder relations $350,000 - $1,200,000 CFO Financial planning, risk management, and reporting $250,000 - $800,000 COO Operational efficiency, process optimization $220,000 - $700,000 CTO (Chief Technology Officer) Technology roadmap, innovation, and IT strategy $240,000 - $750,000 CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer) Talent strategy, culture, and organizational development $200,000 - $600,000 The term "C-suite" comes from the "C" in the title, but the actual work is far from a simple acronym. These jobs require a high level of emotional intelligence , resilience, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder dynamics. When you see a job posting for a C-suite role, expect a rigorous process that often includes board-level interviews and psychometric profiling . The goal is to find someone who can not only lead but also inspire trust across the entire organization.

what are different types of job interviews

The main types of job interviews in 2026 include structured interviews , unstructured interviews , behavioral interviews , panel interviews , group interviews , technical interviews , case interviews , video interviews , phone screens , stress interviews , and lunch interviews . Each type serves a different purpose in the hiring process, and knowing them helps you prepare effectively. To start, structured interviews are the most reliable and fair format. Every candidate gets the same questions, asked in the same order, which makes it easier to compare answers objectively. This is the gold standard for reducing bias in hiring. On the other hand, unstructured interviews feel more like a casual conversation, but they are less reliable for predicting job performance. Behavioral interviews are extremely common. They ask you to describe past situations, using the S.T.A.R. method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). The idea is that past behavior is the best predictor of future performance. Panel interviews involve multiple interviewers at once, which saves time and gives a rounded view of the candidate. Group interviews put several candidates together to solve a problem or discuss a topic, so the recruiter can see how you interact with others. Technical interviews are common in IT and engineering roles, where you might solve coding problems or whiteboard a system design. Case interviews are popular in consulting and test your analytical thinking. Video interviews can be live or pre-recorded on platforms like Zoom or HireVue, and they are now standard for remote roles. Phone screens are quick, usually 15-30 minutes, to check basic qualifications. Stress interviews are designed to see how you handle pressure, but they are less common now as companies focus on candidate experience. Lunch interviews are informal but still evaluative, so treat them as a real interview. Here’s a quick comparison of the two most common extremes: Interview Type Key Feature Best For Structured Same questions, same order Reducing bias, comparing candidates Unstructured Open conversation, no set script Exploring personality, cultural fit My advice is to always ask the recruiter what format to expect. It makes a huge difference in how you prepare.

what are good trade school jobs

For me, the best trade school jobs are those in electrical and HVAC fields . I made the switch three years ago after struggling with a desk job, and it was the best decision. Electricians and HVAC technicians are in huge demand, and the pay is solid. You can expect to earn a median salary between $50,000 and $70,000 depending on your location and experience, with top earners easily breaking $100,000. The job security is incredible because people always need power and climate control. Another top pick is dental hygiene . This is a two-year program that leads to a median salary of around $77,000 . It’s clean, steady, and you work with people, which I find fulfilling. Also, diagnostic medical sonography (ultrasound tech) is excellent. The training is rigorous but short, and you can earn between $70,000 and $80,000 a year. Here is a quick comparison of the fields I consider most promising: Trade School Job Median Annual Salary (2026) Program Length Job Growth Outlook Electrician $65,000 – $75,000 4-5 years (apprenticeship) 9% (faster than average) HVAC Technician $55,000 – $65,000 6 months – 2 years 13% (much faster than average) Dental Hygienist $77,000 – $85,000 2 years 11% (faster than average) Diagnostic Medical Sonographer $75,000 – $85,000 2 years 15% (much faster than average) These are not just jobs; they are careers with clear paths to advancement. For example, many electricians become supervisors or start their own businesses. The key is choosing a field that matches your physical stamina and interest in hands-on work. I would absolutely recommend avoiding any general "business" certificate from a trade school and focus on a licensed trade. That license is your golden ticket to stability and high earnings.

what are some scary jobs reddit

Yes, based on Reddit discussions and my own experience in recruitment, scary jobs often fall into two categories: those with physical danger and those with psychological strain. Roles like corrections officer, offshore oil rig worker, and emergency medical dispatcher are frequently mentioned. From a hiring perspective, the scariness translates into high turnover, specialized skill requirements, and difficulty attracting stable candidates. For example, corrections officers face a turnover rate of 30% annually according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (2025 data), compared to the national average of 12%. The table below shows turnover and injury rates for commonly cited scary jobs: Role Annual Turnover Rate Fatal Injury Rate (per 100k workers) Corrections officer 30% 5.2 Offshore oil rig worker 25% 12.1 Emergency dispatcher 20% 0.8 (stress-related) Logging worker 15% 100.0 The key takeaway: scary in recruitment means roles where candidate screening must prioritize resilience, safety compliance, and mental health support. Reddit threads often highlight the isolation and danger, but my job is to find candidates who see those challenges as manageable with proper training. I’ve learned that transparent job descriptions and robust onboarding reduce turnover by up to 40% in these sectors.

what are the common questions in a job interview

The most common interview questions fall into predictable categories: introductory, behavioral, and situational. You will almost certainly hear "Tell me about yourself," "Why do you want this job?" and "Describe a time you handled a difficult situation." These are designed to assess your fit, experience, and problem-solving skills. To help you prepare, here is a breakdown of the most frequent question types: Category Example Questions Purpose Introductory "Tell me about yourself." "Why are you interested in this role?" Establish baseline and motivation Behavioral "Give me an example of a time you led a team." "Tell me about a conflict you resolved." Evaluate past behavior as predictor of future Situational "What would you do if you missed a deadline?" "How would you handle a difficult client?" Assess problem-solving under pressure Career Fit "Where do you see yourself in five years?" "Why do you want to leave your current job?" Gauge long-term commitment and alignment The key is to prepare STAR stories for the behavioral ones. I have seen many candidates stumble on "What is your biggest weakness?" – the best approach is to choose a real weakness and explain how you are actively improving it. In my experience, the most common question that surprises people is "Do you have any questions for us?" – it is as important as any answer. Make sure you have 2-3 thoughtful questions ready.
