Descripción y detalle de las actividades * Electrical Design Engineer position will execute electrical design, support and testing assignments for electronic circuits, solid state and hybrid technology systems during deployment, design and development stages. * Will be responsible for supporting analog and digital circuits design, including PCB schematic capture and layout and corresponding documentation generation using ECAD, while working on an R\&D structure. * Develop, debug, and optimize embedded firmware (C/C\+\+) for microcontrollers. Troubleshooting and resolving firmware\-related issues * Implement and enhance communication protocols like IO\-Link, BACnet, CANbus, Modbus RTU. * Knowledge of electrical design methodology and practices, test equipment, and some knowledge and experience on test engineering platforms such as LabVIEW. * Support in generating, following and executing testing plans according to specified conditions, verifying circuit functionality working alone or in alignment with other systems. * Involvement in product development and related aspects of electrical design projects, including prototypes evaluation and qualification, supporting the product design process and working coordinated with mechanical engineers, testing engineers and process/industrialization engineers. * High performer, capable of participating in technical projects execution, demonstrating accountability for successful and timely completion of assigned tasks, corresponding deliverables and product cost targets. * Ability to organize and write technical testing reports from test activities/projects assigned, proactive, awareness and application of technical lessons observed, self\-learning and self\-motivated. * Participate in projects planning definition in R\&D projects and support assignments. * Provide technical support to Product Support Engineers for successful sales conversion by analyzing technical problems from field system applications and customers’ special requests. Experiencia y requisitos * 3\+ years of experience in new product development process * 3\+ years of experience in product support * 3\+ years of experience in product electrical design * BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent * Knowledge in new product development, design and optimization of printed circuit boards, hands\-on laboratory experience to test, and verify the performance of new designs and systems. * Experience with UL certification and FCC EMC/EMI compliance. * Knowledge of computer architecture, digital electronics, and microcontroller principles. * Familiarity with firmware development tools and debugging techniques. * Knowledge of Circuit Design software (ECAD) and Circuit Simulation software. * Proficiency in English (80%), knowledge of MS Office * Some experience or knowledge in LabView programs for testing. * U.S. Visa * Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECO) processes, generation of BOM structures, and introduction of New Products is a plus. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * **Desired additional qualifications:** * Scrum * Agile basic background. * Green Belt Six Sigma knowledge/training.
