Descripción y detalle de las actividades The **Graphic Designer** is responsible for creating and updating artwork for production and customer needs. This role supports the Engineering department with required design tasks and prepares prepress files for plate\-making and screen\-making processes. The Graphic Designer also assists in product development projects, supports continuous improvement initiatives, follows the company's values, and performs ongoing quality checks on all completed work. Additionally, this role develops work instructions for new processes when needed and accurately documents artwork changes in the system. **Responsibilities** The Graphic Designer reports to the Graphics Leader and collaborates closely with Customer Service, Engineering, Production, Planning, Screen\-Making, and Plate\-Making teams. The responsibilities include: **Artwork \& Prepress** * Create artwork according to customer specifications. * Ensure artwork is completed accurately and on time. * Manage and organize artwork files. * Prepare prepress files for plate and screen creation. **Support \& Communication** * Provide support to internal and external customers. * Communicate project progress to customers, the supervisor, and the Graphics Leader. * Assist with creative needs across the organization. * Attend value stream meetings and graphics staff meetings. **Documentation \& Quality** * Properly document all completed work. * Record artwork changes in the Brady system. * Develop work instructions for new or evolving processes. * Perform continuous quality checks on all developed artwork. **Compliance \& Standards** * Adhere to all Brady safety requirements and standards. * Comply with the Brady Quality System and Good Manufacturing Practices. * Follow internal labor regulations. Experiencia y requisitos **Minimum Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. **Required Skills:** * Strong communication and presentation skills. * Responsible and proactive. * Willing to take on new challenges. * Ability to identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions. * Research and problem\-solving capabilities. * Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and CorelDRAW. * English proficiency: 90% written, 90% conversational. * Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. * Initiative and ownership of tasks. * Knowledge of printing and prepress methods. * Ability to work with cross\-functional teams.
