Strong experience in server administration, networking, and cybersecurity **Network \& Server Specialist** **Excellent Flow is seeking a Network \& Server Specialist** to manage, maintain, and secure the organization’s server infrastructure and network systems. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, data security, performance optimization, and technical support across departments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server administration, network configuration, cybersecurity best practices, and system troubleshooting. **Key Responsibilities** * Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers * Monitor server performance, uptime, and system security * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls * Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery testing * Maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls * Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues * Ensure data security and compliance with privacy standards * Coordinate with external IT providers or vendors when needed * Implement system updates, patches, and security protocols * Maintain documentation of system configurations and IT procedures **Required Skills \& Experience** * Proven experience in server administration (Windows Server and/or Linux) * Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls) * Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper\-V, or similar) * Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection * Experience managing backups and disaster recovery systems * Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills * Ability to manage multiple technical priorities independently * Relevant certifications preferred (CompTIA Network\+, Security\+, Microsoft, etc.) **Important Note** This position requires hands\-on experience managing servers and network infrastructure.
