**Customs Classifier** In our organization, technical precision is the cornerstone of a secure customs operation. We are looking for an expert capable of mitigating legal risks (PAMA) and optimizing our clients' tax compliance at the Port of Manzanillo. **Main Responsibilities** * **Tariff Code Assignment:** Identifying the exact code (8 digits \+ NICO) based on the nature and function of the goods. * **Tax Calculation:** Accurate determination of IGI (General Import Tax), VAT, DTA, and other applicable levies. * **RRNA Compliance:** Verification of Mexican Official Standards (NOMs), health and environmental permits, and countervailing duties. * **Application of Treaties:** Validation of tariff preferences and certificates of origin (USMCA/T\-MEC and other agreements). * **Technical Consulting:** Strategic advice on the feasibility of import and export projects. **Technical Requirements and Profile** * **Academic Background:** Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Trade, Customs, International Business, or Engineering. * **Language:** Conversational English is indispensable. * **Legal Knowledge:** Proficiency in the Customs Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade, and Explanatory Notes. * **Merceology Skills:** Ability to perform physical and technical analysis of products to prevent fines and seizures. * **Analytical Thinking and Attention to Detail:** Fundamental for the correct interpretation of regulations. * **Operational Autonomy and Problem Solving:** Ability to manage processes independently. * **Ethics and Confidentiality:** Responsible handling of information. * **Assertive Communication and Collaborative Work:** For efficient team interaction. * **Resilience:** Ability to work under pressure. **We Offer** * **Salary:** $15,000 MXN to $18,000 MXN (based on experience). * **Statutory Benefits:** Standard benefits according to Mexican law. * **Superior Benefits:** 30\-day Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo), $2,000 MXN monthly food vouchers, and a 7% monthly savings fund. * **Job Stability:** Long\-term focused employment. **Work Schedule** * **Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. * **Availability:** Saturdays as required by operations. * **Location:** Col.
