




Resumen del Puesto: This role involves developing, implementing, and controlling environmental protection procedures, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and managing occupational health and safety systems. Descripción y detalle de las actividades * Understand and apply policies and procedures related to Quality Systems, ISO 13485, Environmental Management System (ISO 14001\), Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001\), and any other systems required for company operations. * Develop, implement, and control procedures for Environmental Protection and Environmental Improvement. * May be responsible for the Joint Safety and Hygiene Committee. * Maintain an updated Plant contingency plan in coordination with Federal, State, and Municipal authorities, establishing Emergency Response Plans. * Obtain and update operating permits with the corresponding government agencies. * Recommend and oversee the purchase of safety materials and equipment for different areas of the Company. * Audit measures and controls required by legal regulations, creating and managing related documentation. * Communicate policies, internal procedures, and government regulations to Plant personnel and Corporate. * Regulate the purchase and use of hazardous materials, as well as ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste generated within the Plant. * Conduct performance evaluations of direct reports and recommend appropriate development plans. * Validate and approve Environmental Function Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
