Overview We are seeking a **Server C Specialist** with strong **backend server engineering experience**, focused on **Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange administration**. This role is ideal for an engineer who has worked behind the scenes managing email platforms, server infrastructure, and compliance—not providing end\-user or desktop support. The position supports a hybrid environment, including **Office 365, Exchange (cloud and limited on\-prem), Azure\-based servers**, and email security platforms. The engineer will also collaborate closely with **Security and Infrastructure teams** and support email integrations related to acquisitions and third\-party platforms. Key Responsibilities * Administer and support **Microsoft Office 365** at the tenant and service level * Perform **Exchange administration** (Exchange Online and a small on\-prem Exchange environment used for system mail routing) * Manage **server patching, maintenance, and general server administration** * Handle **Compliance, eDiscovery, and data governance** using **Microsoft Purview** * Support and maintain **email security solutions** such as **Microsoft Defender for Office 365** or **Proofpoint** * Collaborate with the **Security team** on email protection, filtering, and threat mitigation * Support **email integrations** related to company acquisitions and **third\-party systems** (e.g., Salesforce) * Assist with administration and enablement of **AI\-related Microsoft products**, including **Microsoft Copilot** * Support Microsoft server infrastructure hosted in **Microsoft Azure** * Troubleshoot backend email and server issues escalated from other teams Note: This role does not provide end\-user support and does not support Microsoft Teams or Voice services.Required Experience \& Skills * Strong experience in **Exchange Administration** (Exchange Online and/or on\-prem), including **eDiscovery and compliance** * Hands\-on experience with **Microsoft Office 365 administration** * Experience managing **email security/filtering solutions** (Microsoft Defender, Proofpoint, or similar) * Solid background in **Microsoft server administration**, including patching and maintenance * Experience supporting servers and services in **Microsoft Azure** * Understanding of **email routing, system mail flow, and integrations** * Backend/server\-side mindset (not end\-user or helpdesk focused) Nice to Have * Experience supporting email systems during **mergers and acquisitions** * Familiarity with **Salesforce or other third\-party email\-integrated platforms** * Exposure to **Microsoft Copilot or AI\-enabled Microsoft services** * Security or compliance\-focused experience within enterprise environments Ideal Candidate Profile * Server or infrastructure engineer with **deep backend experience** * Comfortable owning **email platforms and server systems** * Experience working in **enterprise or hybrid cloud environments** * Detail\-oriented, security\-aware, and collaborative Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo Sueldo: $50,000\.00 \- $58,000\.00 al mes Experiencia: * Exchange Administration (Discovery and compliance): 3 años (Obligatorio) * Microsoft Azure: 3 años (Deseable) * Backend/server\-side mindset : 3 años (Obligatorio) * PowerShell automation: 3 años (Obligatorio) Idioma: * Inglés (Obligatorio) Lugar de trabajo: Empleo remoto
