Support continuous improvement initiatives for mold enhancements. **Mold Maintenance Technician** Location: Chihuahua Plant, Mexico Full\-time **About the Company** Company focused on manufacturing monitoring solutions for the supply chain, ensuring product quality during transportation and storage through technologies that detect environmental and handling conditions. **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled **Mold Maintenance Technician** responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and adjustment of molds used in injection molding, blow molding, or stamping processes. This role ensures **product quality, mold availability, and continuous production** through preventive and corrective maintenance. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform **preventive and corrective maintenance** on molds (cleaning, polishing, alignment, and component replacement). * **Diagnose and troubleshoot** mold failures and related systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, basic controls). * Repair and rebuild mold components such as bushings, guide pins, nozzles, hot runners, and ejection systems. * Collaborate with **Production and Engineering teams** to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap. * Maintain accurate **maintenance records and documentation**. * Support **continuous improvement initiatives** (quick\-change systems, poka\-yoke, mold enhancements). * Manage **spare parts inventory**. * Follow all **safety procedures**, including LOTO. **Qualifications** * Technical degree in **Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics**, or related field. * Minimum **2 years of experience** in mold maintenance (injection, blow molding, or stamping). * Experience with **multi\-cavity or complex molds** is a plus. **Skills** * Strong **troubleshooting and diagnostic skills**. * Ability to work with **precision tools and tight tolerances**. * Ability to read **technical drawings and diagrams**. * Experience with **machine shop equipment** (lathe, milling machine, etc.). * Good **communication and teamwork skills**. * Focus on **quality and continuous improvement**. * **Intermediate conversational English required**.
