Requiere trabajar durante largos períodos de tiempo en invernaderos.\n \n \n\nDebido a sus responsabilidades estratégicas, este puesto está basado en el vivero de Fall Creek ubicado en Sayula, Jalisco, o en cualquiera de las subsidiarias de Fall Creek México.\n \n \n\n**FUNCIONES PRINCIPALES:** (Se pueden asignar otras funciones)\n \n \n\nResponsable de la recopilación precisa de datos de campo, registro, entrada de datos y extracción en la base de datos para apoyar el programa de desarrollo de variedades RUBUS.\n \n \n\nPlantación, mapeo de campo, etiquetado y registro de plántulas y selecciones.\n \n \n\nAyuda en las evaluaciones de fruta en campo.\n \n \n\nAyuda en cruzamientos controlados y cultivo de plántulas, incluyendo emasculación, polinización, etiquetado y mantenimiento de registros en entornos de campo e invernadero.\n \n \n\nBrinda cuidado y mantenimiento rutinario de las plantas utilizadas como progenitores en cruzamientos controlados, colección de plantas fundadoras de I+D y inventario de mejoramiento.\n \n \n\nResponsable del envío de plantas a sitios de prueba.\n \n \n\nRealiza recolección de tejidos para propagación clonal y lleva registros precisos de cada selección.\n \n \n\nResponsable de la toma de muestras de tejido/media vegetal y obtención de permisos fitosanitarios para la importación/exportación de material vegetal.\n \n \n\nTrabaja estrechamente con ventas, propagación y logística.\n \n \n\nResponsable del trasplante, cuidado cultural rutinario, inventario e inspecciones de cuarentena de nuevas introducciones de plantas.\n \n \n\nAyuda al equipo de Biología Molecular y Pre-mejora, y al programa True to Type (TTT) con trabajos de laboratorio, cultivo de tejidos, recolección de tejidos y actividades de fenotipado según surjan necesidades.\n \n \n\nAyuda al Gerente de Finca con la gestión hortícola rutinaria y la fruta.\n \n \n\nPrepara informes periódicos de progreso que resuman el desempeño de las selecciones del programa de mejora.\n \n \n\n**Lo que aportas a Fall Creek:** \n\nFORMACIÓN, CONOCIMIENTOS Y HABILIDADES REQUERIDOS.\n \n \n\nTítulo universitario en horticultura, botánica o campo relacionado en un programa de mejora, entorno de vivero u otra operación hortícola.\n \n \n\nBilingüe en inglés/español (capacidad para comunicarse en inglés, tanto oralmente como por escrito)\n \n \n\nConocimientos sólidos y experiencia trabajando con el paquete Microsoft Office y capacidad para proporcionar informes detallados utilizando hojas de cálculo de Excel.\n \n \n\nHabilidades sólidas en entrada de datos alfanuméricos.
