Necesario inglès conversacional avanzado. **Responsibilities** * Performs advanced troubleshooting/diagnostics to identify problem areas for resolution. * Create and deploy Maintenance Requests for after\-hours network augments * Work directly with the NCC and TAC for overall health of priority circuits * Tracks trouble resolutions, provides ticket updates and other information to customers. * Runs tests, checks processes, and assists with repair coordination activities. * Coordinates with technicians and dispatches field technicians to provide maintenance/repairs and service. * Performs remote testing, coordinates off\-net testing, and performs escalations. * Interacts with customers; attends customer meetings, and maintains knowledge of customer needs. * Gathers information and provides network data analysis. * Performs complex investigations into intermittent and potentially service impacting events. * Work directly with vendors as required for special network repairs * Constantly watching the network for issues and alerting the NCC when one is identified * Creating and Running scripts across the network for repetitive tasks and checks. * Identifying automation opportunities and documenting requirements for development. * **Qualifications:** * 5 years experience troubleshooting DWDM Networks * 3 years experience with Ciena 6500 /Infinera/Alcatel PSS\-32/16 required * 3 years experience in a network operations role required. * Fiber technician field experience is a plus. * Flexible schedule to support the deployment of after\-hours maintenance requests * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Detail oriented * Flexible and adapts well to a constantly changing environment * Experience managing technical projects. * Experience documenting and articulating automation requirements with developers **Equipment:** * Infinera * Fujitsu: 4500, 4300, 4100, 7420 * Cyan: Z77, Z33 * Ciena: RLS, Corestream, 4200, Core Director, 6500, 5200, OC48 Classic, OC192 Classic * Cisco: 15454, MSTP * Nokia: DMX, 1830 **EMS Applications:** * Ciena: One Control, MCP, or Preside * Cyan: CyMS (Blueplanet) * Fujitsu: Netsmart 1500 * Alcatel Lucent: Wavestar or INC (DMX), PHM (1830\) * Infinera: DNA **Generic Applications:** * Metasolv / M6 * Oracle Assure 1 * Salesforce * xMatters Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo Sueldo: A partir de $70,000\.00 al mes Pregunta(s) de postulación: * ¿Qué nivel de Inglès dominas?
