The company focuses on cross\-cultural excellence to empower businesses to focus on expansion and growth. **About the role:** The Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in the mortgage process by ensuring that every borrower’s homeowners insurance meets lender requirements and is processed in a timely manner. This position works closely with loan officers, processors, underwriters, and insurance agents to collect, verify, and track insurance documents needed to move loans through to closing. **Key Responsibilities:** * Coordinate with insurance agents and carriers to collect homeowners insurance declarations, binders, and updated policy documents. * Review and verify insurance policies to ensure they meet lender and investor requirements, including appropriate coverage amounts, deductibles, and escrow information. * Communicate directly with internal teams—processors, closers, loan officers—to provide updates and resolve any insurance\-related issues that may delay closings. * Track and maintain accurate insurance documentation in the loan file using company systems and pipelines. * Serve as a point of contact for internal escalations or clarifications regarding insurance timelines, requirements, or exceptions. * Ensure policies are in place and validated prior to loan funding. * Assist with renewals, policy updates, and coordination with escrow for existing loans when needed. * Help develop and refine insurance\-related processes, checklists, and quality control standards. * Stay current on industry regulations and investor/lender guidelines related to property insurance.
