Descripción y detalle de las actividades  Troubleshooting systems and hardware. Responsible for analyzing and maintaining a call log of IT support issues/tickets networking related to discover trends to proactively reduce ongoing issues. Continually assesses needs and requirements  Ensuring systems and hardware security. Monitors online security for users and networks and takes appropriate steps to address security breaches if necessary.  Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detections systems, and access controls.  Upgrading systems and hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software configurations.  Collaborating with other IT professionals, vendors, and service providers to ensure network efficiency and security.  Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.  Leads the IT Support staff to execute training and orientation for new technology users of the organization and helps them become familiar with equipment and networks Experiencia y requisitos  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field (preferred).  English proficiency at the B1 level, with the expectation of reaching C1 within the next six months.  At least two years of proven professional experience in an IT Network Engineering role, demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in the following competencies: Networking:  Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN.  Security Tools: Firewalls (SonicWall desirable), IDS/IPS, SIEM.  Virtualization/Cloud: Hyper\-V, AWS, Azure networking, MS tenant.  Monitoring Tools: Azure Security platform, Service Desk Plus session management.  Certifications: CompTIA Network\+, Security\+ are desirable. Cybersecurity  Perform vulnerability scans and patch management.  Implement zero\-trust architecture and MFA.  Maintain compliance with standards like ISO 27001\. Soft Skills  Great communicator to understand the problem and translate it to customer.  Strong problem\-solving under pressure.  Ability to identify and resolve issues regarding IT in a manner that is timely.  Ability to create clear documentation for non\-technical stakeholders.
