**About the Position** Monteverde International School is seeking a **Learning Support Teacher** for the **High School** division. This position provides **personalized instruction** and **academic assistance** to **students with diverse learning needs**, collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to promote an inclusive learning environment where all students can achieve their full potential. The role also includes serving as a **substitute teacher** when needed. **Main Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and monitor **Individual Education Plans (IEPs)** for students with identified learning needs. * Collaborate with teachers to **adapt instructional strategies** and ensure access to the curriculum. * **Assess student progress** and provide regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other relevant stakeholders. * Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, ensuring they are informed and involved in their child's progress. * Maintain up\-to\-date **records and documentation** for each student’s progress and learning support needs. * **Substitute for High School teachers** and make substitution plans when required. * Provide **professional development** to teachers on **inclusive education strategies**, differentiation, and classroom accommodations. * Contribute to **inclusive practices** and a **positive school culture**, working with High School Principal. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Special Education, Inclusive Education, Psychology, Pedagogy,** or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). * Minimum **3 years of experience** supporting **students with learning or disabilities** in an **international school** or multicultural environment. * Experience developing and implementing **IEPs.** * Strong understanding of **inclusive education** and differentiated instruction. * **Fluent in English (required);** Spanish or another language is a plus. * Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills. **We Offer** * A dynamic, multicultural, and inclusive international school environment. * A collaborative and supportive team culture. * Full\-time position with legal benefits, plus a food voucher card.
