### **Summary** * To provide expert advice to superiors for Financial Reporting \& Accounting and manage the reporting and accounting requirements for the general ledger; to ensure compliance with external and internal accounting reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner. ### **About the Role** Location: Hybrid. CDMX **Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:** * Lead intercompany month\-end close, including journal entries, accruals and eliminations. * Perform detailed reconciliation of intercompany balances; investigate and resolve mismatches. * Partner with global affiliates to resolve disputes, clarify postings, and ensure timely settlements. * Maintain intercompany master data and ensure compliance with internal controls and NAM policies. * Support audit requests, provide supporting documentation, and ensure process adherence. * Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization across IC processes. **Required Skills \& Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA preferred. * 3–5\+ years of experience in intercompany, GL, or shared services accounting. * Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and intercompany accounting principles. * Advanced Excel; proficiency with SAP/S4HANA strongly preferred. * Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet strict month\-end deadlines. **Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve. **Accessibility and Accommodation:** Novartis is committed to work with and provide reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities.
