Overview: Use Calibri 18 font here Responsibilities: To lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management systems. The primary goal is to ensure regulatory compliance and drive the operation toward zero incidents and minimal environmental impact* **Legal and Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure the facility meets all local and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA in the US, STPS/SEMARNAT in Mexico). Manage environmental permits, including emissions, waste management, and wastewater discharge. * **Risk Management:** Conduct safety walkthroughs, identify unsafe conditions, and coordinate Job Safety Analysis (JSA) or Risk Assessments for every workstation. * **Culture and Training:** Design and execute the annual EHS training plan. Form and lead emergency response teams (ERT) and coordinate fire and evacuation drills. * **Investigation and Follow\-up:** Lead the investigation of accidents and near\-misses using root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa/Fishbone) to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Qualifications: **Education**Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).**Experience** 3 to 5 years in manufacturing or industrial processing plants.**Certifications:** Deep knowledge of **ISO 14001** and **ISO 45001** standards.**S****oft Skills**Persuasive leadership, assertive communication, and composure under pressure.
