**Sr. Automation Engineer \- Android** **Experience:** 7\+ Years **Tech Stack:** Espresso, Kotlin, UI Automator, MockK You will build a hermetic testing environment using **Espresso** and **UI Automator** that validates complex user flows across a fragmented device landscape. **What You'll Do** * **Test Architecture:** Design a layered automation strategy (Unit vs. Integration vs. E2E) to maximize coverage while minimizing execution time. * **Scripting:** Write robust UI tests using **Espresso** and **UI Automator** (for cross\-app interactions like Login/Payments). * **Mocking:** Implement **MockWebServer** or similar tools to create hermetic test environments, decoupling tests from backend instability. * **Device Farm Mgmt:** Manage test execution across device farms (Firebase Test Lab, SauceLabs) to ensure compatibility across varied screen sizes and OS versions. * **CI Integration:** Integrate reporting tools (Allure/ReportPortal) into CI to provide clear, actionable insights on test failures. **What You'll Bring** * **Experience:** 7\+ years in Test Automation with a focus on Android. * **Coding:** Strong **Kotlin** development skills. * **Frameworks:** Mastery of **Espresso** , **UI Automator** , and **JUnit** . * **Pattern Knowledge:** Understanding of the **Robot Pattern** or Page Object Model to write maintainable test code. * **Infrastructure:** Experience with Docker or CI environments to run headless emulators.
