Build strategic global supplier partnerships Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Reagent Sourcing Engineer** with a strong background in the **IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) industry**. This role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and managing global suppliers for reagents, assays, and instruments while driving cost optimization and supply reliability. The ideal candidate will combine **technical knowledge, sourcing expertise, and strategic negotiation skills** to support supplier partnerships and improve procurement performance in a global environment. Key Responsibilities * Source and manage suppliers within the **IVD diagnostics sector**, including reagents, assays, and instruments * Analyze **performance KPIs and product differentiation strategies** to support sourcing decisions * Leverage **scientific specifications, supplier economics, and benchmarks** to strengthen negotiation outcomes * Build and manage relationships with **leading global suppliers and distribution partners** * Conduct **market intelligence and competitive analysis** to identify alternative suppliers and solutions * Drive **PPV (Purchase Price Variance) improvements** and develop cost\-saving initiatives * Partner with **procurement, commercial/sales, and quality/regulatory teams** to align sourcing strategies * Interpret **manufacturing drawings and technical specifications** to support sourcing evaluations * Support **global sourcing initiatives across Asia, Europe, and the US** Required Qualifications * Proven experience in the **IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) industry**, particularly with reagents, assays, and diagnostic instruments * Strong background in **global sourcing and supplier management** * Experience negotiating **pricing and commercial terms with international suppliers** * Knowledge of **distribution contract models and supplier economics** * Experience with **market intelligence and supplier benchmarking** * Ability to interpret **technical documentation and manufacturing specifications** Additional Experience * Experience managing **international procurement and import processes** including: * Incoterms * Customs documentation * Duties and tariffs * Logistics coordination and lead\-time planning * Experience evaluating and onboarding **global suppliers** considering: * Cost * Quality * Compliance * Capacity * Geopolitical risks Key Skills * Strong **negotiation and strategic sourcing capabilities** * Excellent **stakeholder management and cross\-functional collaboration** * Analytical mindset with strong **problem\-solving skills** * Ability to operate in a **global and fast\-paced supply chain environment** **Join our team and play a key role in building strategic global supplier partnerships that support innovation in the diagnostics industry.** Tipo de puesto: Por tiempo indeterminado Sueldo: $70,000\.00 \- $100,000\.00 al mes Beneficios: * Seguro de vida * Vales de despensa Lugar de trabajo: remoto híbrido en Guadalajara, Jal.
