**Job Description** We are looking for a **Software Engineer L4 (Lead Engineer)** to join our team and lead critical technical initiatives within the Platform Catalog ecosystem. This role is ideal for highly experienced engineers with deep expertise in distributed systems, software architecture, and large\-scale backend development. As a Lead Engineer, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, drive strategic technical decisions, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our platforms. **Responsibilities** * Lead the design and implementation of major features and services. * Drive architectural discussions and propose scalable solutions aligned with engineering best practices. * Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence. * Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical outcomes. * Advocate for reliability, performance, and observability across multiple integrations. * Develop REST/GraphQL APIs and backend applications using **Java**, **Docker**, and **Kubernetes**. * Build and maintain real\-time data pipelines using **Kafka, Aerospike, and Elasticsearch**. * Design and operate highly available microservices for large\-scale distributed systems. * Participate in and coordinate on\-call and production support rotations. * Assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve technical challenges within the team. **Requirements** * 10\+ years of software engineering experience delivering production\-grade systems. * Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and API design. * Strong proficiency in **Java**, including debugging and performance optimization. * Experience working in cloud\-native environments (preferably **GCP**). * Strong knowledge of microservices, real\-time data processing, and container\-based applications.
