Descripción y detalle de las actividades **Key responsibilities :** * Lead and supervise engineers across multiple business units within the plant. * Define and implement plant\-wide manufacturing engineering strategies and priorities. * Drive cross\-segment collaboration to standardize best practices and optimize engineering performance. * Oversee strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for engineering programs. * Champion innovation in automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing technologies. * Experience working with ISO 9001, IATF16949\. VDA 6\.3\. * Lead plant\-level CAPA systems, investigations, and problem\-solving initiatives. * Monitor engineering KPIs and ensure continuous improvement across all segments. * Facilitate talent development, mentoring, and succession planning within the engineering organization. * Comply with EHS regulations and policies; identify and report any EHS concern and support on corrective actions. * Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions. * Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Experiencia y requisitos **Required Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Manufacturing, or Business Administration preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing multi\-segment engineering teams and large\-scale initiatives. Expertise in strategic planning, operational excellence, and change management. Strong leadership and communication skills with executive presence. Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma. Ability to influence cross\-functional and global teams. Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish). **Preferred Qualifications:** * APQP validation experience . * Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. * Lean Manufacturing. * Experience in plastic molding processes ( Injection, Compression, Rotomolding , Extrusion) * Background in automation for process improvement projects.
