SoHo Dragon represents a Global Financial Technology company that needs to hire a Finance Consultant. **Locations: New York, Toronto, Mexico City, Chile, Sao Paulo** **Junior** **What you’ll do :** * Advising on Murex best practices in the P\&L processes, position management, accounting, hedge accounting and financial reporting. * Contributing to client\-site MX.3 implementations during the requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment phases by participating in workshops, preparing documentation, configuring client requirements and performing quality assurance tests. * Providing client support including managing open issues and supporting upgrade activities. * Communicating development needs to the Murex product development team * Providing internal and external training. **Who you are :** * Ideal candidate is someone with 2\-3 years experience in capital markets technology. * **The candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles under IFRS or US GAAP. Knowledge of hedge accounting is a plus.** * Preferable experience includes supporting either trading, treasury or accounting at banks or other financial institutions or has experience with other fintech vendors. * Strong academic background in accounting, engineering or a math\-based discipline (math, operations research, statistics etc.) * Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system, SQL, and basic programming is a plus. * Advanced level of English is mandatory.
