The work includes modernizing the .NET and Angular stack, migrating the system to PostgreSQL, implementing a real‑time synchronization engine for multiple on‑prem healthcare sites, and developing a dynamic forms engine that can handle hundreds of clinical workflows * Position overview: We are seeking a Solution Architect to define the target architecture and guardrails for a legacy modernization initiative (transitioning from a .NET monolith toward a modular architecture). * The role includes ownership of integrations (HL7/FHIR), security, observability, and performance across the platform. The architect will also lead the PostgreSQL migration, synchronization engine design, and technical strategy for the Form Engine. * .NET (C\#) with Entity Framework * Angular v4 with Kendo UI * PostgreSQL as the primary database * Windows OS * Xfinium library for PDF generation * Responsibilities: Own the architecture runway (C4 models), NFRs (security, resiliency, performance), and technical standards for the existing .NET \+ Angular v4/Kendo stack. Define the data migration strategy for SQL Server* PostgreSQL, including compatibility, EF mapping updates, migration scripts, and zero/low‑downtime approaches; also consider PDF generation constraints with Xfinium. * Design the synchronization engine for on‑premise sites and AWS, covering eventing, conflict resolution, idempotency, retries, back‑pressure handling, and observability. * Establish the approach for the Form Engine (schema\-driven/forms\-as\-metadata, versioning, validations, rendering on Angular v4/Kendo, and corresponding backend services). * Oversee AI\-assisted documentation efforts (C4\-as\-code, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML docs), ensuring privacy/zero\-retention and alignment with Tech Lead for human‑in‑the‑loop validation. * Support the PM with estimations and risk mitigation; guide the Tech Lead on architectural decisions and set Azure DevOps pipeline guardrails. * 5\+ years in software architecture (.NET/C\#, EF, distributed systems) * Experience in healthcare or enterprise environments; familiarity with HL7/FHIR is a plus * Cloud experience (AWS or Azure) * CI/CD and observability practices (logs, metrics, traces) * Strong system design skills and stakeholder communication proficiency in Spanish * Nice to have: Experience modernizing legacy front‑ends (Angular v4 and newer Angular versions) * Knowledge of real‑time data synchronization patterns or event\-driven architectures * Exposure to dynamic form engines or metadata‑driven UI systems * Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks
