Foster collaboration across functional teams **Join our team as HSE Leader Mexico** **Job objective:***This position is responsible for leading the development and execution of an annual budget of $15M capital projects portfolio across multiple manufacturing plants in Mexico for General Resins ensuring delivery of value\-added engineering solutions that enhance production capacity, asset integrity, efficiency, safety, sustainability and circularity. Working through a team of approximately 10 engineers the manager oversees the full project lifecycles utilizing PMI project management methodology to maintain HSE, cost, schedules and quality. This position plays an integral role delivering corporate and operational strategies through project fruition, while aligning with business priorities, regulatory requirements, long term growth objectives.* **Location: Altamira, Tamaulipas, Mexico**. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, PMI Certification or equivalent * **English Professional Working Proficiency** * Results oriented mindset with integrity and accountability * Deep understanding and experience with PVC production technology and processes * Experienced Leader in full Capex project lifecycle stages from conception, opportunity analysis, detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning working on behalf of owner, EPC or design house. * Strong command of PMI project management methodologies demonstrating strong cost and schedule control. * Familiar with international, regional and local regulatory framework and safety standards governing industrial installations in Mexico * Understand the synergy between capital investment, productivity and capacity growth. * Ability to build trust in relationships across functions and businesses * Adaptive to frequently changing business conditions and priorities. * Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing multi\-million\-dollar capex projects * Proven experience in chemical manufacturing or related process industries * Minimum of 10 years of engineering project management experience * Excellent communication, stakeholder management and financial controls proficiency * Successful demonstration of leadership of an engineering team **Main responsabilities:** * Lead and mentor a team of \~10 multidisciplinary engineers in managing the full lifecycle of capital projects from concept and feasibility to execution and handover. * Translate, engineer and deliver business objectives into clear engineering solutions delivering measurable operational and financial value. * Build a high performing team culture through effective empowering while fostering professional growth and accountability. * Drive continuous improvement and innovation through fit for purpose reliable cost\-effective technical solutions adding value to the business. * Provide optimal decisions based on data and risk evaluation while balancing short\- and longer\-term needs. * Develop annual capex project list prioritizing high\-value, high risk, and noncompliance initiatives aligning with business objectives, operational efficiencies, and sustainability goals. * Report on project portfolio performance to leadership using determined key performance metrics (ie budget, ROI, schedule performance, forecast accuracy) * Foster collaboration across functional teams, plants, R\&D, operations, procurement and finance * Oversee engineering design standards, regulatory compliance, and adherence to HSE requirements **We offer:** Competitive salary Do you have what it takes?
