We are looking for a **Fullstack Software Engineer** to transform a critical internal tool into a commercial\-grade platform. You will take ownership of an existing laboratory operations tool built in Python. Your mission is to rebuild and modernize it into a robust, fullstack application, establishing a solid technical foundation for a future SaaS product to be sold to other laboratories. **What you will do** * Lead the refactoring and optimization of the existing Python\-based application. * Design and develop a scalable backend (APIs, services) and a modern, user\-friendly frontend.Architect and implement a database model supporting multi\-tenant SaaS requirements.Build and integrate core SaaS features (user management, authentication, subscription logic).Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and clear documentation.Collaborate directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. **Requirements** * 5\+ years of fullstack development experience, with a proven ability to own projects end\-to\-end. * English proficiency * Strong experience with a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js). * Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and data modeling for SaaS. * Hands\-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker). * Solid understanding of software architecture, scalability patterns (caching, queues), and security best practices for multi\-tenant applications. * Excellent problem\-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. **Nice to have** * Experience migrating or modernizing legacy applications. * Prior work in a scientific, healthcare, or laboratory domain. * Knowledge of Kubernetes or other orchestration tools. **What we offer** * 100% remote position. * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Custom benefits aligned with your experience. * The unique opportunity to architect a product from the ground up with a clear path to market. * Collaborative work with international teams and direct client impact.
