**Job Description:** We are seeking a seasoned **MDM Automation \& Backend QA Engineer** with deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), Data/ETL testing, and backend API/database validation. This role blends traditional MDM testing with modern automation and backend engineering practices to ensure data integrity, quality, and seamless integration across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience with **Stibo MDM**, **automation frameworks**, and **backend API/database testing**, along with a strong foundation in data analysis, migration, validation, and governance. This position plays a critical role in enabling scalable, compliant, and high\-quality data ecosystems. **Responsibilities:** * Perform Data/ETL testing to validate accuracy, consistency, and quality across multiple systems. * Leverage MDM tools, particularly **Stibo**, to manage and maintain master data. * Design and implement **automation test suites** for MDM workflows and backend data pipelines. * Conduct backend API/database testing to ensure robust data exchange and system interoperability. * Analyze, migrate, validate, cleanse, and verify data; identify and resolve mismatches. * Manage data import/export processes and ensure compliance with data integrity standards. * Identify and address data integrity gaps across the quality system. * Understand and manage ETL processes from source systems to staging, data marts, and final loads. * Develop and test Cloud/On\-Prem ETL processes using tools like **Ab Initio, AWS Glue, Informatica, and Alteryx**. * Build and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** for data flow automation in **GitLab**. * Contribute to **DevOps/DataOps** initiatives to streamline testing and deployment. * Apply data modeling and integration techniques to support scalable data management. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to confirm governed attributes and data quality policies. * Implement and monitor data quality management and governance practices within the MDM environment. * Continuously measure and improve master data metrics across systems. **Requirements:** * 10\-12 years of experience in Data/ETL testing and MDM environments. * Proven expertise in **Stibo MDM** and related tools. * Strong background in **automation testing**, especially for MDM and backend systems. * Experience with **API/database validation** and backend QA methodologies. * Proficiency in data analysis, migration, cleansing, and verification. * Familiarity with cloud\-based MDM testing and modern ETL tools. * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. * Solid understanding of DevOps/DataOps principles. * At least 3 years of experience in data modeling and integration. * Strong grasp of data quality management and governance practices. * Minimum 6 years of experience in monitoring and improving master data metrics. * Excellent communication and cross\-functional collaboration skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Certifications in data management, automation testing, or related fields. * Experience with additional MDM tools and testing frameworks. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Knowledge of performance and security testing.
