**HR \& Payroll Plant Manager – Chihuahua, MX** We are seeking an experienced **HR \& Payroll Plant Manager** to lead all human resources and payroll functions at our manufacturing facility in Chihuahua. This role ensures legal compliance, supports organizational development, manages labor relations, and drives employee engagement. The position also oversees accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with Mexican labor laws. **Key Responsibilities** **Human Resources Leadership** * Partner with plant leadership to support business goals through effective HR strategies. * Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain qualified personnel. * Drive employee engagement, performance management, and development programs. * Oversee training and succession planning to build internal capabilities. * Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws (STPS, IMSS, INFONAVIT). **Payroll \& Compensation** * Manage and process weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. * Calculate and ensure timely payment of salaries, overtime, bonuses, severance, and social security contributions. * Coordinate with external vendors for audits, tax filings, and payroll system updates. * Maintain confidentiality and accurate records of payroll and personnel files. **Employee Relations \& Compliance** * Serve as the main contact for labor relations, grievance handling, and investigations. * Develop and enforce company policies aligned with labor laws and corporate guidelines. * Collaborate with legal counsel on employment matters, union negotiations (if applicable), and audits. **HR Systems \& Reporting** * Maintain HRIS and payroll systems with accurate and reliable data. * Prepare regular reports on headcount, turnover, compensation, and compliance metrics. * Support labor cost forecasting and budget planning. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (Master’s preferred). * 8\+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, including at least 3 years managing payroll. * Strong knowledge of Mexican labor laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices. * Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., TRESS, SAP, Workday). * Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken). * Proven leadership skills and ability to influence senior management. **Core Competencies** * Strategic thinking and problem\-solving * Confidentiality and ethics * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Detail\-oriented and accurate * Team leadership and collaboration Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo Sueldo: $80,000\.00 \- $98,000\.00 al mes Escolaridad: * Licenciatura terminada (Deseable) Experiencia: * manufacturing or industrial environments: 8 años (Deseable) * managing payroll: 3 años (Deseable) * Mexican labor laws: 3 años (Deseable) * Human Resources Leadership: 5 años (Deseable) Idioma: * Inglés Avanzado (Deseable) Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
