




Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front\-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities , despatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office\-based activities. "General Job Description: Under general supervision perform the following activities: * Prepare all necessary customs forms to allow import, export and transit procedures to carry out in a timely, efficient and effective manner for shipments arriving and departing by air, i.e., master guides, cargo manifests and general declarations, invoices and any additional related documentation. * Prepare forms detailing custom duties, duties and taxes / VAT. * Prepare international manifests to ensure cargo release in a timely manner. * Ensure full compliance of all ramp activities with country policies and tax laws and in compliance with FedEx rules, procedures, practices and rules. * Interact with customs officials and coordinate customs activities with internal staff. * Contact customers to provide information and inform about any additional tax payments. * Keep all customs documentation well organized and filed correctly. * Perform the classification and transfer of cargo to other airlines when required. * Process submission of flight information through customs computer system. * Track cases for different shipments. * Inventory management of loads found in urgent shipping warehouses. * Control of supplies and inventories. * Support load\-captain function if required. * May be required to perform other duties as assigned **Minimum Requirements** **Minimum Education:** * Bachelor's degree in international trade or related. * Ability to understand English (450 TOEIC points). **Minimum Experience:** * Technician/technologist in international trade or business with two years of experience in handling air cargo, procedures, policies, customs laws and regulations and customs clearance processes at the airport. * Analytical thinking, planning and organization skills. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Driver's license, preferable. * Good administrative skills and computer knowledge. * Management of the English language in the customs area.
