It is responsible for reviewing legal requirements regarding health, safety and environment and related certification requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES General: * Manage and implement compliance with Laws, Regulations, Standards, and Policies of the Environmental Management System and the Safety and Hygiene System, at the municipal, state, and federal levels. * Generate metrics to evaluate legal compliance for the environmental system and the safety and hygiene system. * Coordinate service providers in environmental and safety matters to ensure legal compliance. * Communicate any deviations from regulations, standards, and the EMS to Management, as well as present proposals and follow up to ensure compliance. * Ensure compliance with requirements based on ISO 14000\. * Ensure compliance with legal requirements of applicable Official Standards. * Ensure compliance with applicable requirements of the Federal Labor Law (LFT). * Train personnel on topics related to Health, Safety, and Environment. * Update and monitor processes and formats related to the area. * Improve and monitor reporting methods within the area. * Generate corporate reports for the area. * Supervise personnel to ensure adherence to area policies and procedures. SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE * 3 years in the position of ESH or similar. * Intermediate experience in environmental matters. * Intermediate experience in health and safety. * Intermediate training experience. * Advanced written and spoken English. * Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience with managing staff for compliance purposes that don’t report directly to you. * Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities in alignment with business needs. * Strong sense of teamwork and ability to communicate professionally with others.
