Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.**Job Description** =================== In this role, you will: * Collaborate with other software developers, and UX designers in order to build a set of reusable components, building a common Design System for all groups in Grid engineering to build UI applications * Work within a designated scrum team while supporter engineers from other groups implementation applications using Design System. Build UI applications to be used in transmission, distribution and asset management utility domains. * Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques * Writes code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project * Understand performance parameters and assess application performance * Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice **Required Qualification** * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience. * Able to legally work in Mexico. * Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish. * Experience with web front\-end technologies such as typescript/javascript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like Angular, React, VueJS **Desired Qualification** * Experience with agile methodology, working with scrum teams during sprints * Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, build tools like npm, and source control tools like git/github * Experience writing and/or integrating with REST services on the backend * General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development lifecycle * Familiarity and experience writing UI mobile applications is a plus **Business Acumen:** * Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks. * Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team. * Displays understanding of the project's value proposition for the customer.
