Remote work arrangement **Lead Application Architect (AWS, Cloud, Microservices)** * Location: Remote within Mexico * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM * Employment Type: Permanent Job Objective Define and maintain the architectural vision for applications, aligning business needs with scalable, efficient, and sustainable technological solutions. Responsibilities * Design solution architectures for new initiatives and existing systems * Evaluate and approve technical designs from development teams * Document architectural decisions (ADRs) * Define architecture standards, principles, and best practices * Design reference architectures (microservices, APIs, event-driven, serverless) * Manage the Technology Radar (Adopt / Trial / Assess / Hold) * Identify and manage technical debt * Conduct architectural health checks (Architecture Health Checks) * Participate in complex technical decisions and trade-off analysis * Collaborate with Cloud, UX/UI, and Security teams Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (completed) Experience: * Minimum 5 years in software development * Minimum 3 years in software architecture * Experience in cloud architecture * Experience in architecture and database modeling Technical Knowledge: * Advanced AWS proficiency (mandatory) * Microservices, APIs, and modern architectures * C4 Model, DevOps, TOGAF, HOPEX knowledge desirable Additional: * Experience in architecture governance * Participation in defining organizational standards * AWS Solutions Architect certification (desirable) We Offer * Participation in high-impact technology projects * Strategic role with influence on organizational decisions * Remote work arrangement Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per month Benefits: * Work from home Work Location: Remote employment
